About

Iolanda Bianchi is an urban political scholar. She holds a PhD in Political Science, Public Policies and International Relations from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and in Regional Planning and Public Policies from the University IUAV of Venice. Her research focuses on alternative forms to satisfy basic needs and fundamental rights in the city, studying how this is achieved through the civil society / public action interplay. She is a “Juan de la Cierva” postdoctoral researcher at the IGOP- Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGOP) – Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

Accredited as Lecturer Professor in Political Science by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU Catalonia), 2020
